ComputerCraft requires Minecraft 1.4.6 or 1.4.7 and an appropriately up to date version Minecraft Forge. Once forge is installed, drop ComputerCraft1.481.zip into your /mods/ directory, and launch the game.
Once you started vanilla server (don't forget to change EULA), install Forge and you are done. Now you can launch Forge server by double clicking "forge-version-xx.xx.x.xxxx-version.universal.jar" or using the command below.

I found and deleted the IC2 api folder form the compactsolars, forestry, and railcraft mods. The mods I have installed are Millenaire, ReiMinimap, AdvancedMachines, buildcraft, compactsolars, forestry, IC2, Railcraft, Steve's Carts, and minecraftforge.
Mirror for those who need it. You can also get Forge while the forge site is down by removing the "/CompactSolars/" part from the link. (or get IronChests by adding "/IronChests2/") Thanks to kendfinger @ minecraftforge.net for the mirror.

no idea what it means or why it happens, i go back and use compactsolars-universal-1.4.7-3.2.3.23.zip and everything runs fine. oh and this is using minecraftforge-universal-1.4.7-6.6.1.524. did i do something wrong somewhere?
Like the title says I can't see players 99% of the time on multiplayer. I didn't have this problem with the version minecraftforge-universal-1.4.7-6.6.0.492 but I do on any version after that one (even with the latest version). I use MagicLauncher and the iChun's portal gun, Rei's minimap, OptiFine mods but if I just use the MagicLauncher and Forge the problem is still there. I do get 1 error message from MagicLauncher saying:
If you want to use an existing save, copy it from C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves to MultiMC\instances\INSTANCE_NAME\.minecraft\saves, replacing YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME and INSTANCE_NAME as necessary.
This version was built on Forge version 737 but should work on any version of forge after version 662 and any version of minecraft 1.5.2+. It should work fine on minecraft 1.5.1 as well, but has not been tested.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OPTIFINE USERS IN MINCRAFT 1.4.7: OptiFine seems to cause an unusual rendering bug that causes items to render in a slightly higher position, so to fix this, there is an option in the config file to enable a fix for OptiFine so items render in their proper positions. These issues seem to be fixed in minecraft 1.5.1 with optifine prerelease A7.
As of the new launcher update, it can be downloaded as a Minecraft Forge Version. Download Minecraft Forge here and the TooManyItems Forge version here. Run the Forge installer, click on "Install to client." When Minecraft Forge is finished installing, drag and drop the TooManyItems file into the mods folder in the .minecraft directory. When finished, open the launcher and select the "Forge" profile. Click on play and create/load a world. 2ff7e9595c
